Project management providing project delivery within the three constraints being scope, cost and time, thereby ensuring client satisfaction and retention
Qualification:
BTech, BSc, BEng or BCom; Post Graduate Project Management and PMP
Experience:
• 10+ Years work experience with a minimum of 5 in a similar role (consulting engineering environment);
• Advanced MS Office to include MS Project; Management and Leadership experience
• Valid driver’s license
Others :
Strong analytical and practical skills; Contractual knowledge: FIDIC, NEC3, GCC, JBCC, Construction Legislatione

• Knowledge of Trasoft Traffic Management Software an advantage;
• Detail knowledge of drafting formats and specifications;

1. Design of large diameter steel pipelines/reticulation systems and Water and Waste Water Treatment Works;
2. Hands on experience on design and project management;
3. Additional experience in surge/water hammer analysis would be a distinct advantage;
4. High level of knowledge of the following design software is required:
• Epanet
• Hammer
• Civil Designer Suite
• Surge 2010MS Office
• MS Project
Key Performance Areas:
• Manage and/or conduct the design phases for various water/waste water projects;
• Manage construction phases for various water/waste water projects;
• Manage and/or conduct design phases for various water/waste water projects;
• Transfer of knowledge and skills to junior employees.
Objectives:
• To ensure that all aspects of the investigation and design for water/waste water
projects are conducted to agreed standards and specifications
Key Performance Indicators:
•Detail communication with all role-players to establish project scope;
•Execute design process in line with project plans;
•Conduct preliminary /detail investigations;
•Manage/execute Preliminary and Detail design;
•Manage/execute design optimization;
•Implement quality checks;
•Compile contract documentation if required;
•Keep abreast with latest developments in water/waste water design trends
•Valid Code EB driver’s license
